Designing an Organizational Health Promotion Pattern based on Organizational Governance: A Metasynthesis Approach in the Social Security Organization

Abstract

Introduction and Aim: Efforts to organizational health promotion based on organizational governance in any organization are of great importance for improving organizational performance and employee satisfaction. Therefore, the purpose of this study was designing an organizational health promotion pattern based on organizational governance with a metasynthesis approach in the Social Security Organization.

Methodology: This study was applied in terms of purpose and qualitative in terms of implementation method. The population of the present study was all scientific sources related to the research field, which all sources related to the research field were selected as samples using purposive sampling if they met the conditions for inclusion in the study. The data of the present study were collected using note-taking method from scientific sources and analyzed using thematic analysis method.

Findings: The results of the present research showed that the organizational health promotion pattern based on organizational governance with a metasynthesis approach in the Social Security Organization had 11 sub themes in 4 main themes including the organizational transparency (with sub themes of free access to information, clarity of decision-making, and honesty in communication), managerial accountability (with sub themes of managers' commitment to performance results, acceptance of responsibility, and regular reporting), organizational participation (with sub themes of employee involvement in the decision-making process, strengthening the sense of ownership, and synergy), and organizational justice and trust (with sub themes of observing fairness in the distribution of resources, opportunities, and dealing with employees, and creating a safe psychological environment). Finally, considering the main and sub themes, the organizational health promotion pattern based on organizational governance with a metasynthesis approach in the Social Security Organization was drawn.

Conclusion: According to the designed pattern in this study, to organizational health promotion based on organizational governance with a metasynthesis approach in the Social Security Organization can be prepared the ground for the improvement and promotion of the main and sub themes.
